ONMedU students are distinguished by their abilities in education, social work, sports, amateurism. But one of their most important serious hobbies is studying science in cathedral circles, participating in research, presenting scientific developments at conferences.
One of such students is Alisa Gorova, who is a 4th year student at the Faculty of Medicine.
She became interested in serious issues of science during her school years. Alice studied in one of the best schools in Odessa – № 35, was fond of learning foreign languages.
And in the 9th grade, when she started learning biology, she became interested in this subject. From the 10th grade she took part in city and regional competitions in biology and chemistry, where she won prizes.
After entering ONMedU, her interest in science only increased. Already in the first year the girl took part in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Medical Biology, Clinical Immunology and Genetics, where she took third place and received a diploma for extraordinary solving problems in genetics.
In her sophomore year, Alice began attending a science class on microbiology, and a year later she spoke at the scientific-practical conference “Modern Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Clinical Medicine”, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Professor IV Savitsky, with scientific work “Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans in the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis “.
In her fourth year, she was elected head of the microbiology research group, where she develops human microflora and has many plans for the future. Yes, very soon Alice will take part in the All-Ukrainian competition “The best student of Ukraine”.
We hope for the success of the purposeful girl and wish Alice inspired scientific work and realization of all plans!
