Valerii Zaporozhan: ONMedU and the Agency for Regional Development of Odessa region signed a memorandum of cooperation

Odessa National Medical University and Odessa Regional Development Agency signed a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the document, the cooperation of the parties is aimed at socio-economic and cultural development of communities in Odessa region by attracting investment, creating favorable conditions for investors, preparation and implementation of investment and grant projects, improving the business climate.

According to the rector of ONMedU, Academician Valerii Zaporozhan, the university is the most powerful research center in the south of Ukraine and therefore has always been involved in the development of Odessa region. “We want to be useful, to contribute to the social and economic development of our hometown. That is why we always join the projects implemented by the city authorities, expand the partner network. We actively cooperate with international organizations and donors, we are always ready to share this experience and implement the best world and European practices here in Odessa. That is why we are ready for fruitful cooperation, which, I am convinced, will benefit all of us, “Valerii Zaporozhan said.

“I am convinced that our cooperation will be fruitful and will bring many benefits to both Odessa National Medical University and our region,” added Andriy Shestakov, Acting Director of the Regional Development Agency.
