The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 3 497 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on September 23, 2020 there are 184 734 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 3705 lethal, 81 670 patients have recovered. During the day, 3 497 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 079 482 PCR tests have been performed. 1 769 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 5 455 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 7 132 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 4 394 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 2 634 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 5 191 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 9 343 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 3 149 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 12 811cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 024 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 20 335 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 8 148 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 19 045 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 814 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 2 643 cases;
▪Odessa region – 12 130 cases;
▪Poltava region – 1 630 cases;
▪Rivne region – 11 459 cases;
▪Sumy region – 3 280 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 12 069 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 15 908 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 868 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 5 049 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 13 448 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 3 238 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 3 537 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On September 23. 2020, the Centre received 3 819 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 249 529 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
