The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 3 372 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on September 24, 2020 there are 188 106 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 3 757 lethal, 83 458 patients have recovered. During the day, 3 372 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 129 156 PCR tests have been performed. 1 788 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 5 556 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 7 235 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 4 692 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 2 767 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 5 262 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 9 416 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 3 288 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 12 952 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 039 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 20 665 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 8 286 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 19 250 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 814 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 2 717 cases;
▪Odessa region – 12 309 cases;
▪Poltava region – 1 677 cases;
▪Rivne region – 11 621 cases;
▪Sumy region – 3 352 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 12 334 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 16 193 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 905 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 5 185 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 13 562cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 3 355 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 3 647 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On September 24. 2020, the Centre received 3 648 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 253 177 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
