The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 2 675 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on September 21, 2020 there are 178 353 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 3 583 lethal, 78 184 patients have recovered. During the day, 2 675 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 058 638 PCR tests have been performed. 672 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 5 322 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 6 936 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 4 118 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 2 480 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 5 059 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 9 189 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 2 934 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 12 538 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 993 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 19 758 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 7 880 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 18 518 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 759 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 2 551 cases;
▪Odessa region – 11 610 cases;
▪Poltava region – 1 534 cases;
▪Rivne region – 11 242 cases;
▪Sumy region – 3 117 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 11 439 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 15 133 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 818 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 4 823 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 13 165 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 3 096 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 3 341 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On September 21. 2020, the Centre received 2 641 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 242 579 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
