In Ukraine, 20148 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on May 22, 2020 there are 19706 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 588 lethal, 6585 patients recovered. During the day, 442 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 824 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 740 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 859 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 141 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 607 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 1003 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 401 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1268 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 460 cases;
▪City of Kiev –2522 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 1344 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 1240 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 43 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region –277 cases;
▪Odessa region – 814 cases;
▪Poltava region – 266 cases;
▪Rivne region – 1323 cases;
▪Sumy region – 166 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 1105 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 866 case;
▪ Kherson region – 173 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 299 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –2905 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 383 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 119 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On May 22, 2020, the Center received 1284 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 50636 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
