In Ukraine, 19706 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on May 21, 2020 there are 19706 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 579 lethal, 6227 patients recovered. During the day, 476 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 788 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 698 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 856 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 138 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 589 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 964 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 398 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1257 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 455 cases;
▪City of Kiev –2475 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 1316 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 1175 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 43 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region –274 cases;
▪Odessa region – 806 cases;
▪Poltava region – 266 cases;
▪Rivne region – 1287 cases;
▪Sumy region – 165 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 1098 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 851 case;
▪ Kherson region – 173 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 294 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –2842 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 381 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 117 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On May 21, 2020, the Center received 1024 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 49352 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
