On December 13, the Students’ Scientific Circle of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 held a scheduled meeting of the Students’ English-Speaking Discussion Club on “HIV and Hepatitis in the Practice of the Obstetrician-Gynecologist”.
The event gathered both the students of the international faculty and of medical faculties # 1 and # 2. Following the reports of the members of the circle on the specifics of the management of patients with HIV and hepatitis there was a lively discussion about the existing stereotypes about the data of the disease and what differences in the management of pregnant women with HIV, hepatitis B and C are. The attendees also had an opportunity to pass rapid tests for these diseases.
