Valerii Zaporozhan was elected rector of Odessa National Medical University
On November 25, elections of the rector took place at Odessa National Medical University.

The voting was supervised by observers from all candidates, a representative of the Ministry of Health and accredited media.

1,036 people took part in the voting: members of the scientific and pedagogical, administrative staff, as well as representatives of the student community.

812 people voted for Valerii Zaporozhan (78.4%), 113 people voted for Olena Yakymenko (10.9%), and 68 people voted for Vladlena Dubinina (6.6%). 32 (3.1%) voters did not support any of the candidates.

The elections were held democratically and competitively, in compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine and anti-epidemiological restrictions in connection with the spread of COVID-19.
