Twinning – the partnership of ONMedU & QMUL

Within the “Twinning-partnerships” program, Odesa National Medical University continues its cooperation with Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). This partnership was established directly in response to the military events in Ukraine and aims to help Odesa medical students gain clinical experience.

In 2023, the second group of students was sent to London for a six-week training program. They were interning at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. Ukrainian students Irina Herzhyk, Margaryta Aksyonova and Veronika Mircheva shared their impressions of the trip, differences in the learning process and difficulties they faced.
