The EU opens new programs for Ukrainian students and researchers

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) together with ESN Ukraine and with the support of the EU has created a new platform, that provides information on educational opportunities and support programs for Ukrainian students and researchers.

The section “Education” contains step-by-step instructions for joining the Free Economic Zone and receiving scholarships for Ukrainian youth in 16 EU member states.

A separate support program has also been set up for Ukrainian scientists who have been forced to leave Ukraine. The European Commission is launching a special project under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant program, which provides for:

  • scholarships for doctoral students and researchers;
  • financial support for their families;
  • assistance in the recognition of diplomas;
  • housing and work.

The total budget of the program is 25 million euros. More detailed information on the project for Ukrainian scientists will appear on the portal ERA4Ukraine
