ONMedU specialists underwent training at the LUHZ

Twenty Ukrainian teachers and doctors of various specialties from Odesa, Lviv, Bukovyna medical universities and the medical faculty of  Uzhgorod National University were trained at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LUHS) in providing care to the seriously injured.

The doctors studied the methods of unified and maximally effective work in the conditions of war at the American ATLS course of the American College of Surgeons, which LUNZ and its partners have the right to teach in Lithuania, but cannot do so in Ukraine.

The course establishes an international standard for providing care for particularly severe injuries, organizing the work of trauma teams and the traumatology system.

8 specialists participated in the training as part of the delegation to ONMedU.
