More than 300 lawsuits have been sent to the court for not paying salaries to ONMedU staff, – Konstiantyn Talalaiev

The administration of Odessa National Medical University, is defending the constitutional right of thousands employees to receive salary. This is what on air of Channel 7, said Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Konstiantyn Talalaiev.
In particular, more than 300 lawsuits were sent to the Pechersk district court of Kyiv. The respondent, including the Ministry of Health and personally a.i. Minister Uliana Suprun. Claims are being dealt with by 7 judges. Konstiantyn Talalayev added that Odessa National Medical University is guided exclusively by the norms of the current legislation: the laws of Ukraine in the field of education and the Constitution, Article 43 of which guarantees citizens the right to work and receive appropriate remuneration. “The tyranny that Uliana Suprun has committed is precisely the subject of the sanction of this article, and I myself, the heads of ministries, should be held accountable. They have blocked the payment of wages “, – added the acting Vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical work, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oleh Tarabrin.
He expressed his conviction that the judicial system would give a fair legal assessment of the activities of the ministry’s heads of state, as has already been done by the Ukrainian society. He recalled that according to the results of a social study conducted by the authoritative and independent Razumkov Center, the medical reform was the leader of anti-rating of government reforms. Odessites also expressed their opinion on this issue in the presidential election: only 9% of the voters supported the current government.
