MOH. Latest information of 9.10.2020

The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 5 804 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded- it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 9, 2020 there are 250 538 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including   4 779 lethal,  110 650 patients have recovered. During the day,     5 804  new cases have been recorded. A total of   2 522 360 PCR tests have been performed.    2 417 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region –    7 331 cases;
▪ Volyn region –    9 373 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region –  8 301 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –   5 372 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region –     7 718  cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region –  10 629 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –     5 172 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 14 835 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region –  1 262  cases;
▪City of Kiev –   26 463 cases;
▪ Kyiv region –   10 689 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 22 172 cases;
▪Lugansk region –  1 613 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region – 4 293 cases;
▪Odessa region –  16 107 cases;
▪Poltava region – 3 921 cases;
▪Rivne region – 13 981cases;
▪Sumy region –   6 404 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 15 284 cases;
▪Kharkiv region –  23 342 cases;
▪ Kherson region –   1 714 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region –   8 062 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –  15 939 cases;
▪Cherkasy region –    5 349 cases;
▪Chernihiv region –   5 212 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 09, 2020, the Centre received  6 161 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of  318 998 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
