MOH. Latest information of 7.08.2020

The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 1453 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded  – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on August 07, 2020 there are 78 261 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 1852 lethal, 43 055 patients have recovered. During the day, 1453 new cases have been recorded. A total of  1 135 051 PCR tests have been performed.  531 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Vinnytsia region – 2932 cases;
▪ Volyn region –  4162 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 1508 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  945 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 2064 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 5615 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –   895  cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 5426 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 714 cases;
▪City of Kiev –9178 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 4058 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 10572 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 146 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region –682 cases;
▪Odessa region –  3904 cases;
▪Poltava region – 489 cases;
▪Rivne region – 6638 cases;
▪Sumy region – 636 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 3212 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 4527 case;
▪ Kherson region –255 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 1286 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –6477 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 975 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 965 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On August 07, 2020, the Centre received 1774 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 132 951 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
