The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 990 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on August 03, 2020 there are 73 158 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 1738 lethal, 39 876 patients have recovered. During the day, 990 new cases have been recorded. A total of 1 067 006 PCR tests have been performed. 333 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 2815 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 3949 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 1438 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 898 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 1948 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 5318 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 846 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 4914 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 711 cases;
▪City of Kiev –8554 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 3845 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 9921 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 128 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region –643 cases;
▪Odessa region – 3482 cases;
▪Poltava region – 459 cases;
▪Rivne region – 6270 cases;
▪Sumy region – 541 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 3113 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 3950 case;
▪ Kherson region –230 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 1189 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –5143 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 954 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 900 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On August 03, 2020, the Center received 1072 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 126 311 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
