The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 2 671 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on September 28, 2020 there are 201 305 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 3 996 lethal, 88 453 patients have recovered. During the day, 2 671 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 226 508 PCR tests have been performed. 571 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 5 974 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 7 775 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 5 351 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 3 046 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 5 779 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 9 654 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 3 773 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 13 445 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 077 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 22 143 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 8 854 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 19 916 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 979 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 3 011 cases;
▪Odessa region – 13 079 cases;
▪Poltava region – 1 972 cases;
▪Rivne region – 12 145 cases;
▪Sumy region – 3 813 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 13 139 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 17 703 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 1 062 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 5 747 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 14 113 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 3 759 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 3 996 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On September 28. 2020, the Centre received 2 576 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 266 768 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
