MOH. Latest information of 26.08.2020

The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 1670 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on August 26, 2020 there are 110 085 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including  2354 lethal, 53 454 patients have recovered. During the day, 1670  new cases have been recorded. A total of  1 452 006  PCR tests have been performed.  584 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Vinnytsia region –  3677 cases;
▪ Volyn region –  5221 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region –  2055 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  1256 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region –  2959 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 7143 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –   1439  cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 8321 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 771 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 12 248 cases;
▪ Kyiv region –   5211 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 13 560 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 247 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region – 1023 cases;
▪Odessa region –  6352 cases;
▪Poltava region – 684 cases;
▪Rivne region – 8737 cases;
▪Sumy region – 1269 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 5104 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 7984 case;
▪ Kherson region – 346 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 2062 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 9541 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 1305 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 1570 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On August 26, 2020, the Centre received 1995 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of  169 290 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
