The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 19230 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on May 20, 2020 there are 19230 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 564 lethal, 5955 patients recovered. During the day, 354 new cases have been recorded.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Vinnytsia region – 766 cases;
▪ Volyn region –  676 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 849 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  131 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 583 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 922 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –   385  cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1246 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 450 cases;
▪City of Kiev –2410 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 1261 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 1136 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 42 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region –264 cases;
▪Odessa region –  792 cases;
▪Poltava region – 265 cases;
▪Rivne region – 1217 cases;
▪Sumy region – 164 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 1089 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 836 case;
▪ Kherson region – 172 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 280 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –2796 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 381 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 115 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On May 20, 2020, the Center received 1154 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 48328 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
