Mental health of Ukrainians: everyone is important!

Odesa National Medical University continues the implementation of initiatives introduced within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program, which was organized with the participation of the first lady of our country, Olena Zelenska.

According to statistics, 95% of Ukrainians need psychological and even psychiatric help. Children and people with mental disorders and birth defects are especially vulnerable.

Members of the student scientific society and representatives of the teaching staff of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of ONMedU visited the inclusive center-workshop “Everyone is important”, where people suffering from autism – a disorder of the development of the nervous system – study and spend their free time.
