Fulbright Scholar Program for conducting research in the USA

Institute for Educational Content Modernization informs about the annual Fulbright Fellowship Contest for conducting research in the U.S. – Fulbright Scholar Program.

Letter of IECM (Institute for Educational Content Modernization) dated 09.22.2017 № 21.1 / 10-2028 “Concerning the Fulbright Fellowship Contest for conducting research in the USA”

The Fulbright Scholar Program gives an opportunity to conduct research in the US universities, research centers, libraries, museums, archives, etc. for a period from three to nine months. Representatives of humanitarian, social, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and natural disciplines – candidates and doctors of sciences can take part in the competition; cultural workers, librarians, journalists and lawyers; researchers without a degree with experience of at least five years; post-graduate students before thesis defense, who will receive a degree before the start of the grant (September 1, 2018).

Branches of specialization: humanitarian, social, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and natural disciplines.

Requirements for candidates:

• having Ukrainian citizenship and living in Ukraine for the duration of the competition;
• fluency in English at a level sufficient for professional communication in the English-speaking scientific community;
• returning to Ukraine for 2 years after the end of the grant period in accordance with J-1 visa requirements received by participants of exchange programs.

Grant Terms:

• monthly scholarship
• medical Insurance
• return ticket
