February 24 is one year since the beginning of the war

On February 24, 2022, at 4 o’clock in the morning, Russia launched a massive attack using all types of weapons on major cities of Ukraine, including Odesa, where several explosions were heard in the morning. The war began. Russia committed numerous crimes against humanity on the territory of a sovereign state, violated all norms of the international law. It is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians. Millions of people lost their homes and property, were forced to evacuate to safer regions of the country and abroad, destinies and families were destroyed…

However, the Ukrainian army and thousands of dedicated volunteers prevented the plans of the Rashists. Their army was stopped, the cruiser “Moscow” was sunk in the Black Sea.

Despite Putin’s intentions, the entire democratic world united with Ukraine. Western countries led by the USA and Great Britain, the Baltic countries, Germany, Poland and many others provided and continue to provide enormous assistance.

The war started by Russia contributed to the growth of the number of countries that sought to join the NATO bloc. Putin had no doubt that Ukraine would fight alone and quickly fall, but the war helped bring together all the democratic forces that came to its aid. And a few days before the anniversary of the start of the war, US President Joe Biden visited Kyiv, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskii. The next day, the US president made an impassioned speech in Warsaw. He emphasized that the victory of Ukraine is a matter of honor for all progressive forces, the mad dictator can now be stopped only by force, and the time for negotiations has passed. He informed that a coalition of 50 countries of the world has already been created to fight against Russian aggression, and the NATO bloc – let Putin not worry – is now more united than ever and will help Ukraine as much as it needs.

We are waiting for the end of the war and the coming of peace as soon as possible.

We believe and hope that it will be so!
