Entrants to postgraduate studies choose ONMedU!

The results of the admissions campaign for postgraduate studies at Odesa National Medical University have been summarized. This year, the entrance exams were a little different from those of previous years. If previously the process was based on the results of internal exams that had to be taken directly at the educational institution, then in 2024 applicants had to take the UEE (Uniform Entrance Exam). In turn, it was formed from several parts – TGAC (tests of general academic competence) with a passing score of 160 and a foreign language test. All 50 test tasks were provided taking into account the scope of the program at the master’s level from the three selected specialties: 221 “Dentistry”, 222 “Medicine”, 228 “Pediatrics”.

The foreign language exam included knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and medical terms. In addition, the admission process included an interview with the guarantors of scientific and educational programs. Applicants had to present their proposals corresponding to the dissertation research in the specialty. They had to reasonably present the chosen topic, reveal the strategy and prove the scientific uniqueness of their research.

Among those who entered postgraduate studies, there are graduates of various institutions of higher medical education in Ukraine who, after completing the internship, decided to continue their studies and improve their professional level at Odesa National Medical University.
