Despite the obstacles from the Ministry of Health, the admissions campaign in ONMedU started on time and is gaining momentum.

Despite attempts by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to disrupt the admissions campaign, the admission committee began work on time – on July 10. Applicants are actively submitting applications and documents for admission to Odessa National Medical University.
Thus, in the course of two days, 1146 applications from university entrants from all over Ukraine were filed. Many of them submit their original documents to ONMedU, which testifies to the desire of young people to study at our university. “Applicants who are planning to study in the first year of the full-time and part-time form submit applications in electronic form, and those who have expressed a desire to study in the second year after graduating from a medical college, bring their documents personally. This year, compared to the last one, the first day of the work of the admissions committee was quite saturated, “said Eduard Buriachkivskii, the responsible secretary of the admissions committee of ONMedU.
Specialty “Medicine” was the most popular during the first days of the admission committee work, about 700 applications were submitted to it. Specialty “Stomatology” is In the second place – 250 applications have been submitted. At the same time only those entrants who have scored at least 150 points in external testing of the second and third competition subjects can enter the medical specialties “Medicine” and “Stomatology”, and in the first one (Ukrainian language and literature) – 130. Pharmaceutical Faculty is in the third position for popularity- more than 230 applications. Specialty 053 – Psychology (OCR-Bachelor): is also in demand with more than 80 applications accepted.
