December 6 is the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The holiday of our defenders

The date of celebration of this holiday is related to the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On the Armed Forces of Ukraine” on December 6, 1991, and the holiday itself began to be celebrated in 1993, in accordance with the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated October 19 No. 3528-X.

This holiday is one of the most important in Ukraine, because the importance of the Armed Forces as our defenders and liberators is growing every day of this terrible bloody war. Loyal patriots are fighting, for whom freedom, dignity, independence and the inviolability of the borders of our state are the most important. Brave warriors, not sparing their own health and life, perform the most difficult combat tasks, repelling the enemy from our land.

Armed Forces Day is also special for every citizen whose freedom and right to life are protected by the soldiers of the Armed Forces. Today is a holiday not only for professional soldiers, but for the entire country — every volunteer, every family where a son, brother, father, husband with a weapon in hand defends Ukraine.

On this holiday, we congratulate our defenders, express our gratitude and respect to them.

We honor the memory of those who gave their lives defending the independence of the Ukrainian state from the military aggression of Russia.
