The staff of the Department of Social Sciences headed by associate professor O.O. Sikorskaya held a series of events dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, which is celebrated annually on November 9, in order to enhance the general culture of speech and to instill love for the Ukrainian language. It is language that helps to shape the national picture of the world, immerses new generations in the soil of spirituality, and, importantly, teaches love of the mother tongue not with declarations but with exquisite models.

Indeed, a person can speak many languages, but best of all, he must be fluent in their mother tongue. Native language is a magical instrument, to the sounds of which delicate strings of the human soul resonate. In order to perceive the Ukrainian language as modern, European, rich, developed, it is necessary to demonstrate broadly and systematically the fullness and capacity of our language in all spheres of life.
