In August 2024, the Representation of the International Medical Corps in Ukraine handed over new training equipment to Odesa National Medical University for use in training. Charitable assistance includes mannequins and simulators, simulation equipment, computer equipment and consumables.
The International Medical Corps also provided an opportunity for Odesa National Medical University to conduct various trainings in primary and emergency medical care. These trainings were developed by the International Medical Corps together with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative under the coordination of the American College of Surgeons, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and the World Health Organization in order to improve the provision of trauma care to victims of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine at the pre-hospital and hospital levels.
Today, the International Medical Corps works in various cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv. The organization provides educational and material support with medical means and equipment, food and non-food goods to save the lives of the population affected by various crises.
The team of our university highly appreciates the contribution of the Representation of the International Medical Corps in Ukraine to the development of the Ukrainian system of health care and medical education and your help to the population of Ukraine, which suffered from the aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as the material and educational assistance provided to our team.
