Dear graduates!
That’s the end of your student years. The day when you will receive the long-awaited diplomas has come… Most of you will devote yourself to practical work, someone will do science. The country needs intelligent practical doctors of all specialties, pharmacists, social workers, psychologists; necessary and talented scientists. Hopefully, your choice of profession was not accidental, and during your studies at our university you have only been strengthened in the realization of your vocation.
I am confident that you will remember the time of studying in ONMedU with the warmth and a part of nostalgia, because the student’s time for most graduates of all universities is remembered as the best in life.
At the same time, I have no doubt: each of you understands that for a true doctor, the training does not end with the end of the course. Learning and working on yourself is a life-long one. Qualitative education obtained at our university will allow you to improve your skills in the postgraduate period. Constant studying special literature, the desire to be aware of all the news related to your professional activities (technologies, achievements, inventions), should be your good daily habit. And it is necessary to do this continuously, refining your knowledge, accumulating personal experience. Listen to the advice of your colleagues, do not neglect their help, raise your level of qualification at all possible levels.
Remember the glorious pages of history and achievements of our university – one of the oldest educational establishments in Ukraine, known in many countries of the world. We have a lot to be proud of: state awards, scientific discoveries and inventions, advanced technologies and techniques in teaching, diagnosis and treatment … The names of many scholars and scientific schools are widely known not only in our country but also abroad.
You, graduates of the hundredth anniversary year, have to multiply the achievements of past years accumulated by previous generations of graduates of our university.
Be sure to keep in touch with the alma mater. Here you will always be glad to be seen if you want to continue your education, undergo retraining or improve your qualification!
In conclusion, I wish you success in all matters, and let you always succeed. Set yourself a great goal, do not be afraid of difficult tasks – their solution will add you confidence in your own strength and help you on the path to professional growth. Be heartless in relationships with colleagues and people who help you.
Welcome to the profession!
