The conclusions of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists of ONMedU have been drown. This year the celebration of science was marked by a large number of pleasant peculiarities. The activity and hard work of the young world of science astonished the members of the administration and university professors.
On April 19, the University hosted sessions of 17 sections of various medical areas. At the conference, students and young scientists presented reports on their own research.
925 students took part in the conference, with 265 speakers among them. The number of presentations really impresses – 229! Many colleagues from other medical universities of Ukraine also joined the conference. In general, 29 scientists-guests from other cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih and Vinnitsa visited ONMedU.
According to the results of the objective assessment of the reports presented at the conference by the most respectable members of the jury, the best of them were awarded prize-winning places. Among the winners of the conference there are both students and young scientists of ONMedU and participants from other cities.
Solemn final sitting of the conference in ONMedU was held on April 20 at the plenary session. The significant event began with the words of the highly regarded rector of the university V.M. Zaporozhan. He personally congratulated every winner of the conference and awarded them with diplomas. In addition, all the winners received great gifts – new colourful books from ONMedU publishing house.
The joyous and bright atmosphere of the conference was supported by the Student Creativity Center. At the end of the plenary session there were a lot of great songs and good dance acts.
Special thanks for the organization of the scientific conference were expressed to the members of the SSS and YSS Council, as well as to the Student Council and the Student Trade Union of ONMedU. Due to their persistent efforts, science at the university continues its rapid development.
