Online Training on Statistical Analysis in R Successfully Completed

An online training course “Introduction to Statistical Analysis Using R” has been successfully conducted at Odesa National Medical University.

The course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Torsten Hothorn, University of Zurich, Institute of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention, and organized as part of the pilot initiative of Academia Europaea Cardiff and Prof. Ole Petersen – “Stand with Ukraine: Supporting the Next Generation of Medical Scientists.”

A total of 15 PhD students from ONMedU completed the full course and received certificates of participation. The program consisted of four interactive online sessions focused on the fundamentals of data processing, creating descriptive tables and graphics, and performing basic statistical tests using the R programming language.

Upon completion, participants gained practical skills to independently analyze their own research data and apply statistical methods in their dissertations.
