Anastasiya Donchu, an intern at the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of ONMedU, successfully combines her internship training with sports. She plays for the Odesa women’s hockey team “Sisters Kraken” and is a member of the National Hockey Team of Ukraine.
Anastasiya, who was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the Ukrainian Championship in the 2024/25 season, participates in the development of adaptive sports, in particular, in training veterans in sledge hockey.
On September 13, Ukraine celebrated the Day of Physical Culture and Sports. On the occasion of this holiday, the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov, presented Anastasiya Donchu with the Certificate of Honor of the Odessa City Council – for achieving high sports results, significant personal contribution to the popularization of physical culture and sports in the city of Odessa.
