On August 15-16, 2025, the X scientific and practical conference “Gynecology without Borders” was held in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), which brought together leading specialists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and other countries.
Odessa National Medical University was represented by the assistant professor of the Department of Simulation Medical Technologies Vasyl Gladchuk.
As part of the conference, he delivered a scientific report on the topic:
“Reproductive outcomes in women with deep endometriosis after surgical treatment and assisted reproductive technologies”, and also took part in discussions on modern approaches to the treatment of endometriosis, infertility and oncogynecological diseases.
An important practical aspect was the involvement in “live” surgery: Vasyl Gladchuk assisted during a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with appendages and bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy.
“The opportunity to participate in such operations in an international environment is an invaluable experience that will definitely be useful in our practice and student education,” noted the representative of ONMedU.
The knowledge gained and new contacts will become the basis for further cooperation with foreign colleagues, will contribute to improving the training of gynecologists, improving the quality of medical care for women, and will also be used to improve ONMedU educational programs and implement modern clinical protocols.
ONMedU is proud of its young scientists who worthily represent the university in the international arena, expanding the horizons of Ukrainian medical science.
