On June 15, 2025, an international exhibition of Ukrainian higher education institutions was held in Baku (Azerbaijan), organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The event became a platform for presenting Ukraine’s educational programs to a wide range of applicants, higher education graduates and educators of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by representatives of Odessa National Medical University – Professor Volyanska Alla Georgievna and Associate Professor Shitova Hanna Valentinivna, who adequately presented the university, its master’s, bachelor’s and postgraduate educational programs, as well as the opportunities for studying for foreign applicants in Ukrainian and English.
The grand opening of the event was attended by:
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Yuriy Gusev,
Director of the Ukrainian State Center for International Education Ms. Olena Shapovalova,
Deputy Head of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education of Azerbaijan Mr. Aminaga Sadigov.
The exhibition visitors had the opportunity to receive individual consultations on admission, scholarship programs, dual degree studies, and also to get acquainted with current international initiatives in the field of medical education.
Odessa National Medical University expresses sincere gratitude to the organizers of the exhibition for the opportunity to present our university on an international platform, and also notes the high interest of future higher education students in medical education in Ukraine.
