Farewell to Serhiy Petrovych Pasholok

With deep sadness, all employees and students of our university received the news of the untimely death of the Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Biology and Chemistry Serhiy Petrovych Pasholok.

Incredible sadness and grief… The pain of losing a wonderful person, a brilliant teacher, a good friend.

It is difficult to find a person who would love Ukraine and our university so much. Energetic and bright, with a big heart that was completely devoted to our alma mater.

Serhiy Petrovych Pasholok was born in 1975. In 1998, he graduated from Odessa State Medical University, then worked as a doctor at the Regional Hospital, and later studied in graduate school at the Department of Clinical Immunology, Genetics and Medical Biology. In 2002, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Pathogenetic and diagnostic significance of the macromolecular composition of oropharyngeal washes when exposed to adverse chemical factors on the human body.” Since 2006, he was an associate professor at the Department of Clinical Immunology, Genetics and Medical Biology

Students adored him, colleagues appreciated and respected him – and it was mutual!

He was the first in the student TOP as a teacher who was a pleasure to be with, who was comfortable with, who constantly maintained the atmosphere of the lecture not only with academic knowledge, but also with good humor

A bright, kind memory of Serhiy Petrovych Pasholok will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew, loved and respected him, who lived and worked with him, who he studied with and whom he taught!

The farewell will take place on February 18 at 10:00 in Valikhovsky Lane.

The Kingdom of Heaven, eternal memory and eternal peace to you, Serhiy Petrovych!
