Joint meeting of the SSS of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy and the Department of Pathomorphology

On November 12, 2024, a joint meeting of the SSS of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy and the Department of Pathomorphology was held. Not only SSS members participated, but also students of the 1st-6th years of the medical and dentistry faculties, interns of the specialties “Psychiatry” and “Physical rehabilitation medicine”, students of higher education of the 3rd level (master’s degree) of the specialty 053 “Practical psychology”, teachers and guests.

The meeting was opened with an opening speech by the head of the department of psychiatry, narcology, medical psychology and psychotherapy Opria Yevhen Vasyliovych about the importance of mental health in the modern world. Varvara Oleksandrivna Sytnikova, head of the pathomorphology department, emphasized the importance of joint scientific activities.

Oleg Myakishev and Dmytro Pilypenko — “Alzheimer’s disease: diagnosis, therapy and modification of the modern approach”;
Odehova Veronika and Orlovska Lina – “Alzheimer’s disease – impact on family and society”;
Anastasia Sukhenko – “Differences and similarities between Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease”;
Kateryna Timush – “Obstetrician-gynecologist’s view on Alzheimer’s disease.”
Collaborations inspire to interact with different specialists and see the patient’s body as a whole.
