On April 8, a joint meeting of the SSS of the Departments of Internal Medicine №1 with the course of Cardiovascular Pathology and the SSS of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics, Therapy, Radiation Medicine and Oncology took place remotely. Two topics were proposed for discussion: “Tactical medicine. Algorithm of MARCH assistance” and “Features of treatment of endocrine diseases in wartime”.
The meeting was opened by Andriy Dobrovolskii, Assistant Professor of Simulation Medical Technologies and TSSS course teacher. The report on tactical medicine was prepared by TSSS instructors, 6th-year students Balaban Nadiya, Boshkova Yanina and Eliseeva Elizaveta. All stages of MARCH assistance, illustrated with personal photos of instructors, were considered.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the SSS of the Department of Internal Medicine with a course in cardiovascular pathology, PhD, Associate Professor, Endocrinologist Alexander Potapchuk made recommendations for the treatment of endocrine diseases in hostilities, namely the replacement of drugs with drugs for humanitarian aid, and spoke about the nuances of managing patients both at the outpatient stage and at the hospital stage.
