National moment of silence for the victims of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

On Wednesday, March 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskii said in a video address that he had signed a decree “On a nationwide minute of silence for those killed in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine” in memory of all those killed in a brutal unjust war in our sovereign state.

“In memory of all those who died in the Patriotic War, all those we lost due to the Russian invasion every morning at 9 o’clock throughout our country we will honor our compatriots who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine – military and civilian, adults and children. All those who could still be alive if Russia had not started this war,” the president said.
