Odessa National Medical University hosted an educational seminar “Creating and developing innovations on the basis of universities”, organized by the International Organization “Israeli-Ukrainian Alliance”, “Yissum” (Technology Transfer Office of the University of Jerusalem) and Odessa National Medical University for three days.
More than 600 participants, not only scientists and teachers of ONMedU, but also representatives of other higher education institutions of Ukraine, were interested in the possibilities of technology transfer.
The speakers of the seminar acquainted the participants with the best practices of the Yissum technology transfer office and the possibilities of building a multifaceted partnership between the university, business and government, told about the classic mistakes of scientists entering the business environment, showed the algorithm for monetizing ideas and inventions.
