The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 4 069 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 1, 2020 there are 213 028 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 4 193 lethal, 94 398 patients have recovered. During the day, 4 069 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 308 415 PCR tests have been performed. 2 038 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Volyn region – 8 194 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 6 088 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 3 557 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 6 088 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 9 918 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 4 128 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 13 837 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 127 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 23 155 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 9 279 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 20 590 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 1 091 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 3 270 cases;
▪Odessa region – 13 789 cases;
▪Poltava region – 2 345 cases;
▪Rivne region – 12 554 cases;
▪Sumy region – 4 435 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 13 767 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 19 128 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 1 168 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 6 188 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 14 605 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 4 165 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 4 254 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 01. 2020, the Centre received 4 415 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 279 644 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
