In Ukraine, 7170 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on April 23, 2020 there are 7170 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 187 lethal, 504 patients recovered. During the day, 578 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 353 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 188 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 186 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 21 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 304 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 230 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 146 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 644 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 258 cases;
▪City of Kiev –1059 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 451 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 282 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 27 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 99 cases;
▪Odessa region – 161 cases;
▪Poltava region – 161 cases;
▪Rivne region – 396 cases;
▪Sumy region – 89 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 499 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 101 case;
▪ Kherson region – 77 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 61 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 1140 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 220 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 17 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 23, 2020, the Center received 1409 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 21058 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
