The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 7647 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on April 24, 2020 there are 7647 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 193 lethal, 601 patients recovered. During the day, 477 new cases have been recorded.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Vinnytsia region – 370 cases;
▪ Volyn region –  203 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 195 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  24 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 309 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 260 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –   163  cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 684 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 283 cases;
▪City of Kiev –1122 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 505 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 298 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 27 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region – 103 cases;
▪Odessa region –  169 cases;
▪Poltava region – 161 cases;
▪Rivne region – 437 cases;
▪Sumy region – 90 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 532 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 118 case;
▪ Kherson region – 77 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 65 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 1199 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 234 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 19 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 24, 2020, the Center received 1460 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 22518 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
