Yurii Sukhin: salary arrears have been paid off, university returns to full-time mode

The constructive cooperation between Odessa National Medical University and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has been restored. ONMedU returns to the standard operating mode. This was reported by the a.i. rector of the University Yurii Sukhin at the meeting of the Academic Council.

The university’s budget has now been approved, and salary arrears have been paid off. “This is a credit to all our friendly staff. We spent a difficult year and a half, but nevertheless our university continued to develop and during this time much has been achieved. Now the university  fully cooperates with the Ministry of Health,” Yurii Sukhin addressed the team.

At the same time, he warned of ongoing provocations against ONMedU ahead of the beginning of preparations for the rector’s election, which will be conducted honestly, objectively and in full compliance with the legislation of Ukraine and the university charter. “We need everyone to be prepared for the lie against our university to continue. Please treat this calmly. During this time the team has figured out where the truth is and where the manipulations are, ”said Yurii Sukhin.

The a.i. Rector thanked the team for their united stance, patience and courage, and congratulated to the coming New Year holidays: “We all work for the prosperity of our Alma Mater, this is our dear university and our home.”
