Reporting and Election Conference of ONMedU Primary Trade Union Organization

On November 27, 2019, a report-election conference of the ONMUU Primary Trade Union Organization was held.
103 delegates from all departments of the University and more than 30 guests were present.
The chairman of the conference was G.F. Stepanov.
One of the main issues of the conference was the report of the deputy chairman of the trade union committee N.V. Garina on the completed work for the five-year period from 2014 to 2019. Natalia Viktorivna highlighted the main directions of work of the union of the university, which are reflected in the Collective Agreement of Employees of ONMedU: participation in the control of the remuneration system; control over observance of labor protection conditions; implementation of social programs; health work, recreation, cultural leisure of employees and their children; financial support for union members;  last year and four months – protection of the legal rights and interests of ONMedU staff from gross interference of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine into the life of the higher education institution.
The work of the trade union was considered satisfactory by all participants of the conference, and the provisions of all sections of the Collective Agreement were fulfilled.
The second issue of the conference is the election of a new membership of the trade union committee and the audit committee. An unanimous vote  elected the chairman of the primary trade union organization of ONMedU staff Yu.V. Sukhin and 16 members of the trade union committee; L.I. Krasyluk was elected the Chairman of the Audit Committee and two persons were chosen to the new composition of the Audit Committee.
And the last item on the agenda was the election of delegates from the Odessa National Medical University to the reporting and election conference of the Odessa Regional Trade Union of Health Care Workers of Ukraine.  Yu.V.Sukhin, N.V. Garina , L.F.  Malashevska and N.I. Kara were delegated.
