Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Tsepkolenko is the Director General of the Ukrainian Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology “Virtus”, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Dermatology, National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk.
Volodymyr Oleksandrovych is a member of the editorial board of the specialized scientific journals “The Official Journal of the International Union of Aesthetic Medicine – UIME” (Italy), “The Herald of Aesthetic Medicine” (Russia), “Medix. Anti-aging”(Ukraine),”Dermatologist”(Ukraine),” Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery “(Ukraine), President of the Ukrainian Society of Aesthetic Medicine, Vice-President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic Surgeons, one of the founders of the International Society of Plastic Surgeons and Oncologists, member of the Presidium of the International Society of Aesthetic Medicine (UIME), Honorary Member of the Spanish Society for Aesthetic Medicine, guest lecturer of the ANDI Roma (Italy) postgraduate course.
He is the author of more than 150 scientific works, monographs “Plastic Aesthetic Surgery. Modern Aspects “and” Laser Technologies in Aesthetic Medicine “, 4 inventions in the field of medicine, co-author of the manual for doctors in 2 volumes” Course of Plastic Surgery “.
The Virtus clinic, the general director of which Volodymyr Tsepkolenko is, was the first in Ukraine which performed: computer simulation of plastic surgery results, SMAS-facelift, laser sanding with CO2 laser, open projected rhinoplasty, endoscopic facial lift, ErYAG cold laser grinding – laser, laser removal of unwanted vessels, intravascular laser coagulation of large caliber veins, introduction of the technology of plasma-enriched platelets, and much more.
