Literary and Musical Party “Shevchenko Readings” Devoted to the 205th Anniversary of Kobzar’s Birth.

Every year, the Ukrainians celebrate an anniversary from the birthday of the great son of Ukraine, the brilliant poet and artist Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenkoon their land and abroad.
So, a literary and musical party “Shevchenko readings” devoted to the 205th anniversary of the birth of Kobzar was held in the student library on March 13, 2019.
The speech by the librarian Iryna Hrabarchuk was full of interesting biographical facts on the life of Taras Shevchenko, with a demonstration of books from the library fund of ONMedU, and a virtual photo exhibition of works of art allowed to enjoy the paintings and engravings of the outstanding artist.
The party passed under the melodious bandura sounds. There were wonderful folk compositions performed by the students of the Children’s Music School №1 under the direction of Olga Leonenko.
Shevchenko’s word, which expresses the original free-lucent aspirations of our people, broke into the heart of each one present.
