The Chornobyl Accident, the largest man-made disaster in the history of nuclear power in the world occurred on April 26, 1986.
On April 26, the staff of the Student Creativity Center laid flowers at the monument to the Chornobyl victims. There were many children and relatives of those who devoted their lives for the future of their children near the monument. The grandson of one of the liquidators of I category, Victor Mikhailovich Muhametchin, told the students the story of his grandfather who was one of the first to arrive at the place of the accident.
The SCC, together with the Department of Social Sciences, organized a run-through of the documentary film “Chornobyl – The Tragedy of the Twentieth Century” for the students of the first year of the pharmaceutical faculty.
We remember and respect people who heroically devoted their health and life for the sake of the future of the country.
