On October 3, the Plenum of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Obstetrics and Gynecology: Actual and Discussion Issues” started in Kyiv. The participants were greeted by the President of the Association of Obstetricians-Gynecologists of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Valerii Zaporozhan.
“I remember well the day you elected me the President of the Association and charged me with the development and implementation of a strategy for the further development of our Association. One of the main areas is the system of high-quality professional training of doctors, starting from college. We have succeeded in it. I thank our European partners and friends who have helped and assisted us in this – both methodologically and technologically, ”said Valerii Zaporozhan.
He also thanked all the members of the Association for their invaluable contribution to the development of science, medical practice and professional training of physicians in Ukraine. Valerii Zaporozhan also expressed his hope for qualitative changes in the field of health care and medicine now that the efforts of the relevant committees of Verkhovna Rada and the Ministry, as well as the industry associations are consolidated. “I wish everyone inspiration, fruitful work and success for the benefit of Ukraine”, – said Valerii Zaporozhan.
The Minister of Health Zoriana Skaletska also participated in the opening of the plenum, as well as the Chairman of Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health, Nursing and Health Insurance Mykhailo Radutskii, the President of the European Council and the College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (EBCOG) Professor Jacky Nizard , (France), FIGO expert, Professor Frank Chervenak (USA), Executive Member of the European Network of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ENTOG), Manuel Henriques (Portugal) other distinguished professors, doctors and guests.The plenum and conference were held for 2 days. Plenary sessions, lectures, speeches, as well as a symposium on Contemporary Reproductology & CVART were included in the program of the events.
