Serhiy Honcharov has passed away

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology is saddened to announce that on September 7, 2024, Serhiy Vasyliovych Honcharov,an associate professor of the department, left this world  at the age of 73, one month short before his 74th birthday.

Serhiy Vasyliovych graduated from Odesa Medical Institute in 1974 with a honours. He devoted his whole life to work at our Alma mater, went from a senior laboratory technician, an assistant to an associate professor of the department. He was the first to start teaching at the department in English for foreign students.

Serhii Vasyliovych Honcharov was a wonderful teacher, doctor, wonderful person and friend. The memory of the colleague will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be on September 12 at 1:20 p.m. at Tairov cemetery (crematorium).
