Regular Meeting of the Academic Council of ONMedU

For already two months, ONMedU has been in an economic blockade because of the Ministry of Health, however, both the employees and students are fulfilling their duties in full.
On February 28 a regular meeting of the Academic Council took place, the agenda of which included many questions: the results of the University’s work from January to July 2018, the reports of the heads of examination commissions on the certification of graduates in the specialties of practical psychology of extramural form of study and graduates of the pharmaceutical and international faculties of extramural form of study, recommendation of nominees for the award of the President of Ukraine for 2019 for young scientists for a cycle of scientific works, optimization of the educational process and the most acute and painful one – as to University administration measures to deal with the issue of payment of salaries and scholarships. Unfortunately, the issue with salaries and scholarships has not been resolved yet, but the administration expects that with the support of the trade unions of regional and national level health workers, the governor of the Odessa region, the Committee on Health Care of the Supreme Council of Ukraine, people’s deputies, employees will receive salary and students scholarship in the coming days.
