ONMedU team appealed to Volodymyr Zelenskii for protection: criminals from the Ministry of Health want to destroy our university

The staff and students of Odessa National Medical University appealed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky as to the criminal activity of a.i. Minister of Health Uliana Suprun and her henchmen.
Uliana Suprun, the main destroyer of the health care and medical education in Ukraine, believed that by blocking payment of wages to employees, scholarships for students and the implementation of utility payments, she would stop the work of the university, deprive its graduates of diplomas, and subsequently completely destroy the higher educational institution. However, such a raider seizure option did not work: the university is in the usual mode, the state examinations are underway, students have passed the STEP license examination, the university clinics work efficiently, the staff has got salaries, students -scholarships and utility payments have been made.
Having failed to fight down this disappointment, Suprun, used raiders and villains Boldin, Makarian, Dubinina, Aymedov, Danilchenko, known for raids in Odessa, as well as armed bandits to seize ONMedU administration on June 3, 2019. Their goal is to block salaries and scholarships again, prevent graduates from obtaining diplomas, disrupt the admission campaign, and demonstrate the inability of the labor collective of the university as a whole.
In order to “legalize” criminal acts, the raiders cover their work with the so-called Supervisory Board, which is the next ministry fake and has no legal authority. The point is that this Supervisory Board of the Ministry of Health was created by its order on December 21, 2018. While, according to the law, the formation of supervisory boards is the competence of purely universities. Legitimate Supervisory Board, legally formed by the Academic Council of ONMedU, completes its cadence only in 2022.
By attempts to appoint Dubinina for the post of a.i. Rector Ulyana Suprun violates the law of Ukraine on higher education and disrupts the lawful elections of the rector. The staff rebelled to protect its legitimate right of university self-government, the right to elect rector and vice-rectors and thus independently determine the development of the university. The appointment of Vladlena Dubinina will lead to corruption and lawlessness. Recall that the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption included her into the top 10 corruptionists of the country. In addition, Dubinina worked as Deputy Minister of Health in the government of Mykola Azarov, respectively, her appointment contradicts the law on the purge of power.
Such a policy of the Ministry of Health in relation to one of the oldest universities in the country is “bullying”. “We, the labour collective and students of ONmedU, ask you, as the guarantor of the Constitution, and a person who is ready to change Ukraine, to protect our many thousands of employees from the criminal activities of the Ministry of Health and directly the head of the Ministry of Health, Uliana Suprun. We ask to make them stop victimizing us and ensure the normal and stable functioning of the University. We ask you to respond and help us to solve the difficult situation in which the staff and students of one of the oldest and largest universities in the country have accured”, – goes in the statement.
